Credit Boost Management Services provides credit education and credit file management support to people in Canada, excluding Quebec. We help you understand what is on your credit file, identify information that is inaccurate, and plan the moves you make with your own accounts.
We are not a lender, a credit bureau, a collection agency, a law firm, an accountant, or a Licensed Insolvency Trustee. Nothing we provide is legal, financial, accounting or tax advice.
If you cannot service the debts you already have, the right person to speak to is a Licensed Insolvency Trustee. It is free to talk to one, and they are the only people in Canada legally able to advise on a consumer proposal or bankruptcy. We will tell you honestly if that is where you are, and we will not sign you up.
We make no guarantee of any specific credit score increase, approval, interest rate or outcome. Anyone who guarantees you a score is not telling you the truth. What happens to your file depends on your file, on the actions you take, and on decisions made by lenders and credit bureaus that are outside our control.
We help you challenge information on your credit file that is inaccurate, incomplete or incorrect. We do not challenge accurate information, and we will not tell you that accurate information can be removed. It cannot. A dispute raised against accurate information gets verified and stays on your file.
Membership is $79 a month for founding members, locked for as long as you stay, and $99 a month thereafter. Maintenance after graduation is $39 a month.
Payment is by recurring Interac e-Transfer that you set up and control from your own online banking. There is no contract and no notice period. You cancel it yourself, at any time, without calling us. Fees already paid for a month in progress are not refunded, and we will not bill you again after you stop the transfer.
If someone signs up and names you as the person who sent them, we return your month's fee to you by e-Transfer. One referral, one month returned.
The guide, the briefs, the payment schedules and everything else we produce are for your use. They are built around your file specifically. Passing them to someone else does not help them — the balances, dates, limits and order are yours, and applied to a different file they can do harm rather than good.
You can stop at any time by cancelling your e-Transfer. We may end the relationship if the information given to us is false, if what is being asked of us is something we cannot lawfully or honestly do, or if the service is not the right fit — and we will tell you why.
